I didn't look at the temperature this morning before I went on the dog walk but will estimate it in the low 70's. It's 80 degrees at this posting. Nothing really new to report. Robyn and I took the "new dog" to the vet to be neutered. I'm sure that'll make him happy! We needed another dog like another orifice but I was clearly not even in the voting. The son is leaving at the end of the month for his new position in Michigan and taking his dog with him and, supposedly, this dog is for my sister in law whose dog passed a couple of years ago. So, the number should remain the same by month's end.

Very much change of seasons for us, summer has come to an end down under.
Night time temps in the 70's and 100+ days are long gone, we havent dipped below freezing yet but it wont be far off with night temps below 40 and days in the 70's, perfect hunting weather.
Local game populations are getting ready for winter, deer are more active and found the first sign the itinerant feral hogs are moving to lower elevations from the higher country this week. They arrive this time most years and stay for around 5 months before vanishing again when spring arrives.

Fair, 39°F, Humidity 75%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.02 in
Dewpoint 32°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Sunny, with a high near 77.
Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph.
Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
We might hit 80 today and I'm glad I'm not in 220s place with Winter
just starting.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I’m sipping my Folgers and see these two cranes walk by. I think these are the same two I’ve seen the last two years.

62° this morning. Our big galoot wasn't too cheerful when he got back from the vet's yesterday. He seems to be a bit happier today. I can't believe how much a boxer can eat! He's going to cost us a lot of money for food. Sunny skies today and the temps will reach the mid 80's.

Another 44 degree morning with partly cloudy skies. It’s supposed to reach 70 today and again tomorrow and then a cool down to more normal temps. We’ll take the two days of 70 for sure.

Hitting the lawn today with a de-thatcher and fertilizer. Turned on the sprinklers yesterday and all was good. Time to green up around here, the brush is leafing out and it sure is spring looking.

Another awesome morning at 43 and a beautiful sunrise. It was actually warm in bed overnight so my wife turned the ceiling fan on and it felt good. Another wonderful day forecast with a cool down starting tomorrow.

Had a great day in the yard yesterday and got the lawn (15,000 sq ft stoopid) done. Today we plan to clean up the flower beds (annual plants really) and then give my wife’s Explorer a good spring wash.

My just reward for a hard days work.

49 degrees and heading to mid 80's maybe close to 90. Already cut grass around the house a couple times but going today to get gas in my jugs. It's time to start cutting the whole 6 acres.
