Good to hear it’s over for you JEBar. We are heading back in to rain for the next few days, and then after Saturday it’s supposed to go back to sunny and warm-ish. Low to mid 60s seems to be the plan for the next couple of weeks.

.
The thing I like about fall most years, on days when it isn't raining, the cold crisp mornings and warmish bright sun days. Feels good in the bones. This fall I'm kinda miffed about the wimpy summer temps we had. Fall/Winter/Spring here are mostly damp and dreary for most of 9+ months. The 2-1/2 to 3 months of summer we hungrily look forward to and cherish. Then the first inkling of fall came in mid-August with occasional flights, since then, of Canadian Geese passing through and sights of tree leaves also turning color early. Oh well, it is the PNW we live in.

Been in the 30's F last few days. Snow coming this weekend. Won't keep this cowboy from shooting though.

Made extra coffee this morning.Next door AC unit kept me awake last night.
Tomorrow is the first day of Fall and we're suppose to have to cool front - our "normal" temp is mid-90s, so it may cool off to the 80s. Our winter doesn't arrive until Late December, but its gone by Late Feb.
I plan to have a stock refinishing project for the cold time - had a Marlin 60 in sight, but didn't come through. Good excuse to tour the small gun shops for a "bargain" .22 I can recuse.

I’m on a triple espresso at the moment. It rained fairly hard all night. Supposed to be gray and showery all day. Putting the camper on the truck to head south tomorrow.

54 and cloudy here. Maybe make 75 today. Rain expected tomorrow. From the satellite image, looks like the southern back edge of what you got last night. All the tea cups are dirty so went with coffee this morning in a mug.
