It is 71* early this morning (now at 6:20am).
Yesterday reached 85* when I was in next door KS visiting my daughter (one hour southwest of KCMO).
This weekend, predicted another temp plummet on Sunday with high of 41* and low near 27*.

The teeter-totter continues....

Warm or cold, enjoying my Henry mug filled with double mocha!

Fifty seven at quarter of eight. Supposed to hit eighty degrees. Won't be long and folks will be whining about how hot it is and pining for fall weather. :D Coffee in the stoneware mugs. Another week in the books.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thanks a bunch, BigAl! ;) Yes, I noticed "it's comin."

You send it my way, and I usually forward it over to family in central IL. They are always excited to know what might be heading there way.

Wow... what a gift. It was sixty five last night. Turned off the heat and slept with the windows open. It's supposed to top out at eighty degrees and sunny again today. I sat on the covered side porch to read for nearly three hours yesterday... it was good to feel the heat. Will open the main shop doors today and air it out.

The 2018 tornado season seems to have "officially started" in the KCMO area. With significant temperature changes and increasingly strong winds, there were some very severe thunder storms and tornado watches from AR through large portions of MO last evening. Tried to watch a couple of tv programs, but the weather service took over the screen big time! Thankfully, nothing serious came about in our area.

With the typical shift in weather yet again, forecast for late Sunday evening is the possibility of setting a low temp record of 29*, which is definitely a drop from the mid-day temp yesterday of 86*!! Along with the temp drop is potential of light snow. Wow, I live in KCMO --- "a city for all seasons" usually within 24 hours!

Double mocha in the Henry mug sure tasting good this morning.
Have a great day, Everyone!

The latest blizzard is blowing ice against the garage door. I’m sitting out with my cigar and coffee. Gonna be a cold and Unpleasant day.
