It was one degree below zero F this morning  . High of about 30 forecast though, and mid forties by mid week. Maybe winter's finally through with us.

Woke up to a big surprise this morning. Big fat snowflakes falling steadily. It had not been predicted. The coffee is brewing and the mugs are standing by...

The whole house generator repair guy is due at 10 am, guess he will be working in the falling snow.

Genny guy came late due to the weather. Good thing he came. Seems the problem is a bad voltage regulator, the genny was producing runaway voltage. Tina had just read this can, and has, caused house fires.

He will order the part and get back as soon as it comes in. Not cheap, but will be glad to have it back on line. Had him shut it down for safety.

Thirty three degrees and heavy fog this morning. But it looks like the weather should be turning. Fifty eight today, but high seventies the rest of the week and clear til the weekend. Then, of course, rain.

Coffee on, stoneware standing by...

We hope we are right too. Lol. We are without our backup genny for a week or so while the guy waits for parts. Great weather would be a Godsend. Let's both keep our fingers crossed.
