Temps in the 70's last few days. Off to the Calgary Stampede with my wife Monday. Spend the day seeing the sights.

Perfect way to say!

Last Saturday we had a "cool" front slide into our area, which lasted only through Sunday afternoon. Actually sat out on the patio Saturday evening...'twas very pleasant.

Today we ramp up again for another 10-day bout with the forecast of near 100* each day...narry a drop of rain predicted.
This will be another one of "those summers to remember!" :(

Changed our Calgary Stampede plan to Tuesday instead of today. A little cooler tomorrow. So this looks like a good day to clean my rifle and pistol. Temps in the 80's. Tea in the Henry mug this morning. Next weekend I will be moving a big bunch of cows for a couple of days. Life is good.

80° with 89% humidity. Went out and cut soggy lawn grass while it wasn't raining. We have an 80% chance of rain again today. It' s rained everyday since July 4th. The range is too muddy to shoot rifle so I may go and shoot some pistol at the steel targets today. I was going to do that yesterday but got to doing other chores instead.

77° with 90% humidity. Finally going out this morning to shoot GP 100 .357 and the S&W model 31 (32 S&W Long) at some steel targets. I'll get out when the range line is "Hot" as I won't have to set up targets.

Nice move.

We're still stuck in June weather here. 54'F last night with rain. Today, cloudy with a high expected of 77.

Yesterday, ran errands that ran into early afternoon. Thought I would be able to work outside in the shady spots when I got home. Was 96 and discovered I wasn't yet acclimated to warmer temps, even if shaded. Looks like the hold-over June weather with the cooler temps has finally departed. Our 1.5 months of summer is here.

Today's target is 92, but will likely hit 96 or 97. Finished with tea so on me way out.
