Nice second day of Summer. In the 60s and going to be in the 70s today with, you guessed it, a chance of rain.
Our woods is really verdant this year. Is that a word?
Lawn is dense and green and the lake is the highest I have ever seen. The lake has no inlet and sits in a bowl,
so it is almost entirely spring fed. That has to mean the Aquifer is really high as well. The lake is too
damn cold to swim in.

Oh well, Black Rifle Coffee in my fighter pilot gift mug and a visit with the guys. That's you guys I mean.

another cool, cloudy morning with a forecast calling for a high probability of rain and thunderstorms .... the rodeo is in town and they were able to get in the events last night .... can only hope that will be the case tonight .... with the way things look it we've called off fixing breakfast for 25+ folks after the rodeo .... its a good morning to sip coffee and take it easy

Morning yeah I'm up early, guess I went to bed to early :x
Got out with a couple friends yesterday probably rode 130-140 miles.
Had a great time everyone was safe, was a beautiful day to be in the wind.

Another severe thunderstorm overnight, which is nothing new the last few months. Had almost 3" of new water in the rain gauge. More flash flood warnings in the weather reports than anything else!

The wide Missouri River continues to grow and overflow.

Starting the day with warm double mocha in the Henry mug.
Have a restful Sunday.

Raining here. Cool day. Off to a friend's birthday supper later. Good buddy I worked with on the a7 Ranch a few years ago, his wife turns 65. Supposed to be a backyard bbq but rain may move us indoors.

Hmmm looks like this day wasn't as trying as you previously mentioned.

Light rain most of the night. Rain coming again later in the day. I'm so tired of rain. :(

The monsoons have returned to KC, with about 4" of rain since Friday night. Storming as I type this. Maybe some relief in the next day or so and a drier week ahead!
