Just finished first Henry mug filled with double mocha...ready for another.

Woke up to thunder/lightning, heavy rain and strong wind. Thunderstorms were forecasted to sneak in from the west overnight, starting around 4am. Have had 1-1/2" rain so far.

Yikes! Looks like the "wide Missouri" will get a little wider and deeper again.

Couldn't believe it this morning. Sunny and severe clear this morning for the first time since I don't know when. Problem is, there is the possibility of storms and severe weather for later today. No doubt it will rain but I hope the winds don't get stupid. Not fond of those spinning clouds. Got about 2 1/2# of bacon to get frying.

Got all the mowing and trimming done yesterday prior to the rain setting in. Rained all afternoon and evening and now today is overcast.
The woods is really green and lush this year. Strangely the mosquitoes have not been bad yet. Oh, they will get bad though.

Get a haircut today and then work in my shop while it rains. Probably do lunch with some friends. Carol is gone to Minneapolis
to spend morning with youngest Grand Son. She takes off from her work and does that every Friday.

Black Rifle Coffee in my cup.

59 with bands rain passing through in east central South Dakota .... the forecast calls for the chance of thunder storms increasing each hour after noon .... not good news for tonight's rodeo ... have already switched from black coffee to unsweet tea

Opened a can of Rockstar to wash down my blood pressure meds and watch it RAIN! Wettest year in history. Something like 24" above all records so far this year. Got a slight break in the clouds for a few hours yesterday that gave us a chance to mow and luckily we took it.
