27 right now which is only 1 degree cooler than the high for today. Wind blew all night at 25-30 mph and supposed to blow that way all day. Had a 90 mph gust yesterday, I see they closed both interstates in the eastern part of the state. Grass fires popping up in western SD, fanned by strong winds. Everyone have a safe and great day.

28 heading to mid 30’s with a pretty decent day after a brief rain/wet snow expected this morning. Had nice weather at the range yesterday with sun later turning to clouds, 40 degrees. That’s just fine for January.

Today is cleaning guns and getting some dirty brass in the tumbler.

My visit to the Doc two days ago showed my A1-C about where I expected after a holiday season of over-indulgence. Time to get back on the right track. :D

another cool but beautiful morning on Lake Conroe .... 51 on its way to 60 later today with a strong wind advisory from "9 AM this morning to 6 PM CST this evening .... gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result" .... breakfast once again made of pull off the bone meat from Baby Back Ribs, eggs seasoned with our SPG, sliced tomato, and Folgers .... sadly, no more ribs on tap any time soon .. :(

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

29º going to 34º and light snow this afternoon. Annual Ice Festival this weekend in town. Due to Covid, carving is going to be in a non public area and the sculptures will then be placed around town. Usually there are a lot of people but not sure what to expect this year.
Eggs and bacon this morning. Have a great day.

The backyard temperature is 39°. It's been raining all night and it will continue for another few hours. So far, 1.75 inches have accumulated. The afternoon will be cloudy and warm with temps around 50°.

First cup of tea finished. I'll make a sausage and egg breakfast in a little while.

Enjoy your day. Be careful out there.

Temps in the 20's. Off to the range this morning to make smoke and try out the new rear sight. Tea in the Henry mug, chores and then on with the day.
