Got our first real frost this morning. Clear and sunny and headed for upper 40s. We are off to the Tacoma Dome tonight for “VetsAid 2018” put on by Joe Walsh, with Don Henley, James Taylor and Ringo Starr. Should be a great show, with all proceeds to help veterans!

They did Hotel California, Life in the fast lane, Desperado, and In the city. I’ve seen Henley before, but Walsh was unbelievable. That man can play! I guess you could still call him young as his 71st birthday is next week, but if he was 1/2 that age, you’d still be impressed. Rocky Mountain Way was the highlight for me. A close second (and a surprise) was Chris Stapleton. I knew nothing about him going in, but came out of there a fan. He may be labeled “country”, but his blues and rock flavored songs were incredible.

Cool and wet here. 54° here at 10:00 a.m. and supposed to get colder as the day progresses. We're supposed to be in the mid-30's tomorrow morning which is "cold" for SE TX.
