Snow "close but no cigar" in KC. Hard freeze warning for tonight, but back into the 60s by end of the week! If the weather holds, doing a range outing with PT7 on Friday.

Yup time for woolies. Cold at night, and 40's during day. Great weather for riding.

Below freezing in KC, but headed toward 60 later today. We might get a Fall season after all.

I posed here about 8:30 yesterday. Then got ready for a Dr's appt. By the time I got to the truck the temp had dropped more then 30 degrees, light rain and gusty wind. Winter has arrived on the Gulf Coast.
Extra layers on this morning.

I changed the sights on my Henry and need to get to the range - but I'll wait till Friday...cold rifles don't shoot well for me and we all know that rain deflects bullet.
I have one more big Lever Action Silhouette match this year - two weeks away. Gotta check my sight settings before the last match - no coffee on match day.

This cold front has run the skeeters off - -best thing about Fall. Going out for breakfast this morning. (Will have to pass on the biscuits n gravy - doc says so). Spent the night under blankets and woke with a cat on my feet - a sure sign the temp is down.

It'll warm, back up - its South Texas. All those "Winter Texans" come here to get away from the snow and cold, but I'll enjoy it while its here.
