40's here too with a chance of rain.
Coffee in another scout mug.
Still not much stirring here. A pair of hawks has returned to the nest in the small patch of woods out back. They must have eggs in the nest as they are spending a lot of time there. I set up one of the good cameras and lenses to try and get a decent photograph, but they were not cooperating. We shall see.

Enjoy your day.

Nice & warm this AM. Strong storms supposed to move in late in the evening, like I need more rain.

Supposed to rain today. 40s and rain. Dreary.
No coffee yet. About ready to go up and brew a cup.

Our favorite Supper Club is closed but they have set up a curb side arrangement.
You call in your order with your CC number and then park outside and they will bring it out to you.
Last night was their all you can eat fish fry. Course you couldn't go back for more, but the amount
they gave me was more than I could eat. Deep fried Cod, baked potato, garlic toast, salad with blue cheese,
and sour cream and butter. $16.95

The Wife had pan seared scallops with all the trimmings as well.

When this is over I want this place and a couple others to still be here.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

A balmy 34 this morning, I almost didn’t make a fire. Sat in my chair for a bit and decided it was not quite warm enough so now I have a nice fire accompanying my mug of Folgers. A little bit later my wife and I are going to go for a short drive to a hiking area we have never explored. Get out in between rain storms and get some exercise. There’s a chocolate cake mix sitting on the kitchen counter so there’s hope for me.

Wet out this morning due to a surprise late night thunderstorm that wasn't in the forecast.
Near 70 IF the sun comes out. Glad I could cut some grass down at the range yesterday...very soggy in places there!

It's going to be a dark and gloomy Sunday in CT. It rained most of the night and it will continue today with temps again in the mid-forties. I might take an unnecessary nap in the afternoon. Enjoy your day.
