One of those " Dag nag it" moments............

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Apr 06, 2021 7:42 pm

So I call ol' Herman,on Monday, who hauls and does tractor work when I need it and ask him if he could deliver 2 dump loads of fill dirt down at my range. He said Wednesday would be a better day than Tuesday and to meet him there around 9 AM.
Did some tree cutting and stuff around the house today and called him just a bit ago to make sure he remembered the job tomorrow morning.

Well he tells me he was down there THIS morning wondering where I was! Told him he agreed for tomorrow Wednesday and he said he was sorry and he would call me around noon if he could do it in the afternoon....I'm gonna call him!

Dag nag it!!! wish he would write stuff down! Want to get the dirt in there before the rain moves in Thursday evening!!

Guess I need to invest in a dump truck to get my stuff done!!!!!

As some wise person once said, " if you want anything done right, do it yourself ".

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

I have a friend I've been bowling with for many years. He's not a contractor or anything just has some land, a cherry orchard that he took out recently. He has a dump truck, back hoe, small cat, orchard tractor, he even told me he has a grader. I tell him his parents must not have bought him any Tonka's when he was a kid. He's in his 80's and still going strong, he came into bowling night a few years ago and said he was kind of sore as he had been changing one of the roller thingy's (don't know what they're called) on his cat, by himself!!
