Had a turkey breast sandwich w/cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato and a root beer to drink. Not much I feel like doing these days so I'll just relax and take it as it goes.

Went into town and had a Texas Brisket Sandwich with baked beans. Really good. :D
Then I came home and finished plowing snow and worked in the shop a bit.

Stopped at Subway and had their Southwestern Steak and Cheese with Jalapenos for lunch. I do like that one.
Then went to buy a new Carhartt light work jacket as my old one is coming apart after many years of use.
Wow! All they had were lined ones and they were all over a hundred dollars.
Nope, nope, nope! I'm going to look on line.
Ice went out on the lake today. I guess I'll have the Grandson help me put the dock in this weekend.

I just found what I wanted for ninety dollars online and ordered it. The only place that had any left was Amazon.
The last one lasted me twenty years and I just wore it out so I wanted another just like it.

One of my favorites. In the Summer I often add a fresh tomato slice prior to grilling. :D

Men's Detroit Jacket, 100% Ring-Spun Cotton Duck, 103828-BLK shows as "Updated blanket lining in body
Quilted nylon lining in sleeves", I thought you wanted un-lined.

I have one very similar, has the stretchy nylon cuffs which I prefer. It's too heavy for working in warmer temps. I have a light weight jacket that I replaced with a new one for dressier wear. Don't think it will last long as a work jacket, I think I will get a unlined denim jacket https://www.amazon.com/Levis-Trucker-Ja ... th=1&psc=1 at my age it will probably outlast me.

Had lunch at a newer place in town. It's a combination of a high end bar and restaurant.
We don't drink during the day but their food is pretty good, in fact their brisket is fantastic.
Today I had a double bacon cheeseburger with baked beans. Not bad.
Carol had an order of green beans.
She does that pretty often in an attempt to lose some weight.
I couldn't live on that.
