I've never frequented Wings North, but Pine City is where the chain saw artist lives that did
our Eagle tree in our front yard. That's it in my avatar.
My Grandparents lived in Sandstone and my folks would drop
me off there when I was small to visit. Love the area.

My buddy Dave and two of his childhood friends are all members there, and
he got us some very nice rates on our two visits.
Chad and his wife the owners are super nice folks.

I had never shot Sporting clays before our first visit.
Heck I enjoyed that as much as I did the pheasant hunt.
Besides there are no birds to clean afterwards. :o

Think I'll go warm up some of that leftover roast from last night.
About to get hungry, but I did skip breakfast.

I've shot sporting clays, skeet, trap, and the duck tower. My favorite is skeet though. Got lots of 25s and several 50s.
I don't shoot much trap but I took a VFW friend out to our club and he wanted to shoot trap. I told him I hadn't shot
more than a dozen rounds of trap in my life so not to expect much. Then I shot a 23 out of 25 and he thinks I put
him on. I shoot mostly pistols now. I kind of burned out with shotguns for a while.

It's snowing that wet snow now. We went to town for lunch and when we came back saw where a vehicle had been
in the ditch just north of our place, but must have gotten out pretty quick. We were only gone an hour and it was
already gone.

Guess I'll go work in the shop.

Maybe shoot a squirrel. :D

Coop we shot trap the first time we were up there.
A couple of the guys did the second time. I prefer the sporting clays. Before that I never tried either and only used the shotgun for hunting.
I prefer the rifles and pistols, but I do own several scatterguns for some reason. 🤔

Oh I have, in fact I have a black powder pistol hanging by the fireplace that I put together from a kit.
I used to hunt deer in Virginia with a .45 Hawken.

Still snowing. Got about 3 to 4 inches now. Should peter out soon.
Worked in the ship this afternoon and got the doors on the cabinet.
Got a lot of sanding to do yet. Then a dark cherry finish to match the woodwork
in the motorhome.
The camera made it look out of proportion. It's rectangular.
