I selected Phizer as that is the one we're scheduled to get on Monday morning.

Never heard if AstraZeneca.
Got my second shot of Pfizer yesterday. No side effects so far.
Not even a sore arm. The nurse was really good both times and I never felt the needle.

Re: Brand of Covid Vaccine
Seems to be fewer reactions to the second dose of Pfizer as compared to the Moderna as far as I can tell by those who have gotten it. I'm just waiting for things to normalize a bit.

Both the wife and I got the Moderna vax. We are scheduled to take our second doses the 9th of March. The wife and eldest G'daughter both complained of sore arms for 2 days after 1st shot.

Mine came thru the VA, so, no choice as far as I know, so I got Moderna. No issues on either shot. 2nd one was 2 weeks ago, no side effects. And, that's the first I've heard of AstraZeneca.
I saw yesterday, the VA will now have available, all 3 versions, Pfizer, Moderna, J&J.

Nope, I had no choice either. You get what they have I guess.

The AstraZeneca vaccine was developed in the UK with US funding and is currently in use in Europe, Canada, and India. It is still in clinical trials in the US.
BY CAITLIN YILEK, CBS News wrote:The AstraZeneca vaccine is already being administered internationally, after it received the go-ahead from the European Union, the U.K. and the World Health Organization in recent months.

Re: Brand of Covid Vaccine
Well, we were supposed to get the Phizer, which is the one I preferred, but when we got there this morning, it was "Moderna Day". They reassured me that both are equal and both are good and you really needed to take what is available (or nothing, lol), so I got the Moderna. Which makes the Poll inaccurate. Moderator take off a Phizer and add a Moderna, if possible.Cowboy Gun Fan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 10:04 pmI selected Phizer as that is the one we're scheduled to get on Monday morning.
Nothing worse than a little sore arm, so far anyway. No worse than a Tetanus Shot.
