There are a couple designer beers that are made locally that I like, but they are not available in stores.
My old back up is Grain Belt Premium. Grain Belt actually ceased production a few years back but Shcell's
Brewery in New Ulm, Mn. started bottling the recipe and it's just as good as the original. I have one
every evening.

Course after that I go to something a little stronger.

.
If east coast starts at 5pm eastern time, it will be 3 hours earlier on the west coast, 2pm. Starting here at 2pm gives us a chance to stay caught up. Besides its Friday. So 2pm here is a good time to get started. Noon might be even better! :P

Not a chance tonight. Tomorrow, us on the west coast, we'll start 3 hours earlier.

You're gonna have to play catch up guys!...
That will actually be later, rather than earlier....Unless you ARE just going to start way early! :D

Either way, starting is normally a good thing. 8-)

Tonight's beverage was a handmade Arnold Palmer at the local DQ with my niece.

Did some driving lessons, and am calling it a night. Going to be o the bike early in some upper 40's lower 50's for a bit.....100 mile run with a friend to get his tuned. Then back home afterwards for another 100 miles. Should be fun.

Mine tonight... Made up, don't know if it has name, by someone else. 2-1/2 shots 100 proof Vodka, 2 shots orange juice, 1 shot lime juice, over ice. Sip away for the evening. By bed time, a nice glow felt in the cheeks.

Friday nights I do sleep well. Not that much of a kick sipping throughout the evening, but nice and relaxed by bedtime. Besides to catchup with the east coast have to make up for it in volume. :P

That is one I am going to have to remember for later, if that ever come again for me. Sounds very interesting as a cool downer during sunset.

Just got home....
Been over to the local drag strip, couple of the guys from the show Street Outlaws was there.
Not sure if anyone follows it or not.
I don't, the wife does. ;)
Any way we had fun, she doesn't indulge, so I was able to sip a couple B&T's. :D
And the good part is we had a good time, and we were only a short 6 miles from home. :D
Almost bedtime. :| :|

Yesterday evening I was sitting on my deck with the dogs (a Lab and a Shetland Sheepdog), having my Adult evening Beverage - ironically, a Modelo Negra - when Sloane the Lab alerted, then bounded off the deck a little way to the edge of the lawn, barking and bouncing stiff legged on her front legs. I called her off, thinking it was just somebody walking their dog on the road, but then followed her stare, and there he was, a good sized Black Bear loping along in that rocking horse gait they use when traveling. I told Sloane: No! Leave it!; the bear stopped, looked at us, and then continued along his way. Probably a boar looking for a date ;) . I suppose I should mention that I live in the woods :) .
