Toronto’s first baseman with his 500 million contract extension is amazing. It came with a huge signing bonus

Milwaukee is the smallest MLB market and Green Bay is the smallest NFL. It’s hard for them to generate enough revenue to pay those salaries. Over the decades the Yanks has stolen a lot of Mariner stars and I suspect a few Brewers as well.

Its been stated for a long time that baseball needs a salary cap. Its one of the reasons I dont watch much baseball. I remember playing it as a chilld and had a great time doing so. I was never that good but I enjoyed the times I got to play

Al, in my opinion, everyone knows what they say about opinions. :o
but, I say there should be salary caps on all the major sports.
Too, much emphasis on it and not Real jobs.
No way a person Playing a game should be worth that much more than more professional jobs.

As a kid growing up in Spokane our local AAA team was the Dodgers farm team. We had Tommy Lasorda as the manager and future stars like Steve Garvey, Ron Cey and Bobby Valentine playing here and I got to see them live. I’ve always had the Dodgers in my heart even after Seattle got a pro team. An all West Coast series will be a nightmare for the big advertisers and network big shots. Too bad! Time to give us Westies some love.

That said, it still can be a Brewers v Blue Jays series and that would piss off the big shots even more.
