60' and cloudy this morning. Expected to be cloudy all day. Maybe 72' later. Rain predicted Sat Night/Sunday morning. Plan to be working on getting some of the firewood in and stacked today. It'll take several days. Three cords of it to do.

I’ve been fighting a sinus infection for weeks and right now I feel horrible. I’m starting my third treatment of antibiotics plus this time a steroid. My regular doctor is having his own medical issue and the PA in the office is overwhelmed so I had to go to Urgent Care yesterday. The visit was ok but it sure made me appreciate my doc even more than before. Get well doc!
I have chronic sinus infections and they VA has told me it could be related to Agent Orange scarring my sinuses. My Doctor keeps me supplied with anti biotics so that anytime I feel the need I can begin a two week regimen. He also subscribes Suda Fed.
I have found that if I flush my sinuses with Neil Med rinse each morning and also take a decongestant it helps a lot. Since it is legal here in the land of ten thousand taxes now, I also take a CBD gummy after lunch every day. The CBD works as a anti inflammatory and seems to help a lot.

I can go months at a time without and infection and then some strong odor will set it off. Hard to believe but even if Carol is cooking something I really like, it can cause an inflammation to start. I have to avoid smoke, some perfumes, incense, ect.

I would think with all the wild fire smoke that can be a problem for you.

today's weather started off ugly .... irritating rain that started and stopped at irregular intervals .... 70 at 8PM with our overnight low predicted to fall to 61 .... forecasted high tomorrow 82 with an 84% chance of rain .... much of our day involved getting Maureen home from a hospital where she underwent right knee replacement surgery yesterday .... with the exception of normal post surgery related issues, she's really doing well .... for the next few weeks we will pretty much be in recovery mode

Sorry to hear this Coop, as miserable as I’ve been with this infection I couldn’t imagine having it chronically. And yes, my recent flare up started last weekend when our air quality was at it’s worst for the season. I’m taking a different antibiotic plus a steroid and placing a hot wet towel on my sinuses. I seem to be doing a little better today.

60 and smoky out there with a high expected to be around 80 today. Maybe a thunderstorm this afternoon but a slight chance at best. Had some winds overnight I could hear and hope they didn’t get to all the fires we have to the north.

Hope you guys with the sinus infections are able to get some relief. I get those now and then and they totally suck. Ive found flushing mine with the saline solution gives me some relief.

Good morning, up way too early so no local weather report for another three hours. But it’s currently 55 and dark and as I recall we are supposed to have a nice day with a high of 78. Might be a little smoky. The Washington State Cougars football game is on tv at 12:30 so I’ll enjoy that.

My wife’s cousin’s husband who is a contractor is coming over this morning to give her an estimate on some kitchen remolding. She wants to lower the eating bar to counter height and have a big expanse of counter. The part she wants lowered is full of electrical and I can’t convince her of how much work that is going to involve. I can hear the cash register ringing already

Go Cougars. Sad what happened to the PAC12. Do they still play the Apple Cup?
