Ouch. I'm sure it hurts. I took the first joint off my trigger finger a few years ago. Long story. But the worst was the next day.

At least you don't have to explain to folks that you got hurt when kicked in the nose!

You might have to learn to shoot weak side like I do now.

The swelling has gone down but its still sore. I could feel every heartbeat last night.

Ouch! That was a tough day on the range. Glad for you that it wasn't worse.

I worked with a fellow who had the very same loss and when talking (using his hands for emphasis), he would jab at the air with his middle finger! It made for some very entertaining conference room meetings!
