Been to Antelope Canyon (upper and lower) a few times. A truly amazing place.

It was much better than expected. With just an hour in the canyon I did think it would be worth the price. I was definitely wrong. The guide was great helping with camera settings and composition. He even took photos for everyone in places where there was no way we would get a good selfie. If we go back we will do the lower.

truly outstanding .... that's a beautiful part of the country that we'd love to revisit but with the passage of time that's unlikely .... y'all have new memories to add to those that last a lifetime

I added places we have stopped and really liked. The Big Texan is uniqueRetiredSeabee wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 1:15 amStops planned in:
Gallup, NM. (Petrified Forest, Painted Desert).
Alamogordo, NM. (White Sands), (Space Museum).
Amarillo, TX. (Big Texan Campground and Steak House).
Oklahoma City. (Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum). (45th Infantry Museum).
Little Rock Ar. Tullahoma TN.
and sometimes there can be a wait, but it is an adventure. The Cowboy Hall of Fame
is really an art museum with many priceless paintings as well as a lot of western
artifacts and displays. Take a whole day there. The 45th Infantry has all of Bill Mauldin's cartoons. (Willie and Joe).

We would have loved to spend an extra day in each location. Just an overnight and back on the road next morning. We did make a quick pit stop at the Big Texan. And went through the
Painted Desert/ Petrified Forest yesterday. And hit White Sands this afternoon.
Stood on the corner in Winslow yesterday as well. Squeezing in what we can in what time we have.
