Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Severe thunderstorm warnings all around KCMO this afternoon. Then the whole line made a sweeping turn and headed SE before they hit our Northland region. Some good MO folk down there got the rain, plus lots of hail, too. Nary of drop of water for us again! Temps ramping back up to above normal over the next days.
One of these days we'll be watered once more. Reminds me a little of the late 19th KS farmer in the movie "Skylark." He and his family were going through a prolonged drought, which was serious to the point where people were losing their farms and moving away. The image that was so expressive of the drought was the farmer watching the empty, dusty glass his son put on top of a fence pole, waiting for the rain to fill it. Think I need to put a glass on my distressed wood bench out on the patio.

82° with 84% humidity. We're in one of those dry spells after getting a lot of rain a couple of weeks ago.
