Re: Hunting gun
As you guys know I want to do some hunting, I just got my husband on board with the idea this year. I have been doing my research about the best type of shotgun to use length, action type, etc. I have fired a gun like this at NRA day a few times for skeet and love the feel. I found this gun to be what I was looking for, it comes with different chokes for the different activities I want to do. I chose it years ago, and waited. I only found it online, and this year found it in Dicks sporting goods. Everything on this gun is super easy to do, pull the charging handle, field strip, load. All great things since nerve damage messed my hands up.
The Henry was my first choice for deer, and the silver eagle for turkey. Now we are looking to take rabbit, turkey, deer, pheasant, and squirrel.(that's the Marlin's job).
It's a Silver Eagle semi automatic 12 gauge. 28 inch barrel, with interchangeable chokes. To be cleaned tonight and shot tomorrow!

Re: Hunting gun
So I did get to shoot the new shotgun, and I loved it! Learning curve on my end to load it. (small fingers slipping between loading gate and Slugs) Once I got it, smooth sailing. Not much recoil and pretty accurate! Now I can't wait to take this thing out to the field!!!
