I do like my 930, but, that Beretta is hard to beat. Too dang bad it's expensive where you're at. Hopefully, if you do buy the 930, it will be as reliable as mine. Good to hear they're are some still available.
Edit: Evan, I'm sending over an improved picture. Just to make sure no late penalties involved!
Bring it! I'll get it posted and the "No harm/No foul" rule is in effect!

The “new” Duck Commander 930 local to me is fully camouflaged. I kind of like yours with the barrel and receiver in blue. I think I’m going to stick to my guns (see what I did there?) and get what I want. They quoted me $699 for the Turkey/Field gun yesterday, but as I mentioned, I think that was for an 835 which is a pump. I said if he can get the 930 for $699 CDN, I’d take two! Hopefully the rep gets the correct price to us today. My apprentice is going to buy (trade for wages) my 500, so I’m 1/2 way there.

I found a store in Arizona that has export permits in place, and will ship the 930 Turkey/Field to my door for $21 over list price. It’s probably as good a deal as I’ll find, but I’m going to give my local guy another week to see if he can get one ordered up. I’ve got until June 10th to order for the next batch they are shipping north of the line...

Well, it’s the 10th, and I “pulled the trigger”. I found these guys after talking to a guy at Cabela’s gun counter. He couldn’t get what I wanted, but recommended AZTech. The price below is imported and shipped to my door. I looked at other import companies and they wanted $250 USD per gun. At that cost, it’s like I paid $329 for the shotgun. A far cry from the MSRP of $640.00! They only import in batches (which is why they don’t charge $250 per gun), so mine will arrive in mid July with the next shipment. Hunting season doesn’t open until September so I’m good with the timeline.

I did go and handle a tactical style 930 at a local shop recently, and I was happy with the solidity of the action etc. It’s no Henry, but it’ll do. I also met a fellow Land Cruiser owner and during our conversation the fact that he works at a range came up. He said of all the semi auto shotguns they rent (pretty much all of them), the Mossbergs are near the top of the heap for reliability in that abusive environment.

Thanks JEBar. I’m really hoping it takes a big bite out of the recoil. Having faster follow-up shots on birds will be nice too!

That's a screaming good deal, congrats on finding it! Give the guy at Cabela's an "attaboy," too, for giving you the lead. Look forward to hearing how you like it and how it does for you during this year's season(s)!

Congrats in advance again!

My new shotty should arrive in country on Monday. To say I’m getting excited would be an understatement. I’ll be posting some pics shortly after it arrives!
