Mossberg introduces the Shockwave in 20 gauge!

This is getting interesting guys. Mossberg has just responded to the Remington shot off their bow. They have introduced their wildly popular Shockwave in 20 gauge.

Thanks Joe, I had been looking off and on at the 12g Shockwave, but I think I would rather have 20g

I know. I made the statement a few weeks ago that I had decided not to buy the Shockwave. However, I haven't bought anything yet, but I keep coming back to the Shockwave. Now with the 20 gauge option, I truly am conflicted.

I don't know enough about shotgun gauges to fill a shell.

All I know is I've been eyeing that gun with no intended purpose in mind but to have one. (About the only type of firearm I don't have yet, besides a cool slingshot.)

I don't hunt and not even sure I'd ever shoot it ( no good places near me ) so if I am mainly considering for home defense, will the 12 gauge be ok?

Thanks for any insight and knowledge you care to share.

The 12 gauge would be fine, either with the Opsol adapter and the mini shells, or with some low recoil 2.75" buck shot. Or just get the 20 gauge and call it good.
