If you have knowledge of these Markings I'd appreciate any input. I'm not concerned whether or not it's a replica or authentic Gun. I would just like to know what the markings mean. It's a Remington Coach gun that I just purchased. The receipt simply states Remington Shotgun SXS 12Ga. On a sticky note the Gun Smith wrote that it's a 1894. I know its not an 1894 because Remington didn't make an 1894 shotgun with the number series 357442. They did make a 1889 and a 1900 that would bracket that serial number. Just like when you own a car I'd simply like to know YEAR MAKE MODEL. In the dark side of the block there is also a stamp of the letter "K".
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
