I have been looking for one of these for quite a while, then one falls into my lap over the weekend. Funny how that happens.

Re: Marlin .410
Thank you for the kind words. This one is part of the "special run" for Cabela's in 2008-2009. It was made toward the end of the "real" Marlins, but the fit and finish is actually rather good. It is limited to 2 1/2" shells, but that limitation is not a big deal to me. Some say this shotgun is the answer to a question never asked, but I have wanted one for years. I will be shooting it this weekend, so we will see how it performs.

It may be the answer to a question never asked, or a solution to a problem that doesn't exist... but it is mostly likely very fun to shoot anyway!

Agree. I have always thought the lever action shotguns were interesting. Frankly, I have never seen one in up close and personal, but would love to try one.JCN wrote:It may be the answer to a question never asked, or a solution to a problem that doesn't exist... but it is mostly likely very fun to shoot anyway!
