Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Sweet. I have too many home projects going on right now, but if I stumble across a really nice single action... I just might have to mark that one off the bucket list.

Re: RifleToms New Pietta 45 Colt
Thanks for getting those pics to us, Al. Congrats to Tom. That should be a great shooter.
We picked up a slightly used Cimarron/Pietta Frontier 357 a couple years back. It was a local CAS shooter's backup gun and I doubt he ever used it. Never had a Pietta, so wasn't sure what to expect, but the price was very good, so we took a chance.
Have to say, it's been a great single action, right there with our Uberti SAs. We shoot mostly 38s in it and it has been very accurate, right there with any DA 38 I've ever shot, including some vintage Smiths.

Very nice looking 45 six shooter Tom! Didn't know they made those with a swap cylinder .45 ACP. Looking forward to a Range Report soon!

Thanks forty. I'm going to work up a couple loads for it hopefully today. Having the .45acp cylinder is a plus, as I have a lot of acp rounds loaded already for my 1911. This is gonna be a another fun gun to shoot! Hopefully they open my outdoor range Monday, as it's been closed due to fires in the area.

As I type I'm loading 45 ACP also. My favorite... Xtreme 230 gr. plated with 6.0 gr. Unique. Very accurate in my HiPoint Carbine and my other pistols.Rifletom wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 1:44 pmThanks forty. I'm going to work up a couple loads for it hopefully today.
