Post by Ozarkwoodswalker » Mon Jul 13, 2020 6:34 pm

any one here have one or have an opinion on them. I'm intrigued and thinking of getting one i have a M&P shield 9mm but a small backup pistol is an idea...or where small is the only way to conceal.....would fit nice in the Consoul in my ford explorer

I have 1 in 9mm. The safety was very stiff until it was cycled about 1K times. Otherwise, mechanically, it works as it should. Also, the sights are very good compared to others of the size.

Due to my large hands, I did get the extended mags, the oversized grips, added a grip-slip and now its not able to twist so much upon firing.

I'm happy with it.

I looked at a number of other .380 mouse guns before I settled on the Ruger LCPII. Including the Kimber. The Ruger is a proven design that has been tweaked through the years to a safe, reliable, and economical handgun. Also, it has a concealed hammer which I like. All at about 1/2 the price. The Kimber is no doubt a fine weapon (all steel and a crisper trigger) but the Ruger was a better fit for me.

Don't know anything about the micro,
hope it's not as finicky as their solo 9mm.
Best 380 I had, wished I would've kept was a Bersa Thunder.

I don’t have any experience with the Kimber but I love my Glock 42 380. It’s a bit larger than the Ruger LCP Ii and it’s easier (for me) to shoot.
