Well I done pulled the trigger again!
Couldn't help myself but am helping a local small business with some of that stimulating money...
1858 Remington BP .44 with the .45 Colt conversion cylinder. Purchased from Taylor's and Company.
They only had this engraved one and another without but same colors. Of course I got the engraved one!
Bluing is the brighter charcoal bluing.
Ol' RR would look good with this one while on his range rides!

Re: Well I done pulled the trigger again!
Wasn't that bad for the revolver....they gave a discount off their regular price so right about what I paid for the Evil Roy.markiver54 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 12:07 pmBeautiful larry!

Now I did have to add $240 for the drop in .45 Colt cylinder which they will have their GS check for fit. Plus no trip to a gun shop to pick it up...coming right to the house with cylinder in a separate box!
Later may pick up another .45 cylinder for drop in reloading.
Hope I can shoot it as good as it looks!

Congrats for sure. I've been thinking of adding one of those Remingtons to go along with the Colts. Have always liked the Remingtons for their looks.
