Carrying my XDE .45

Post by fortyshooter » Thu Feb 27, 2020 10:46 am

My favorite way to carry the XDE is in my back pocket,in holster of course, while wearing my jeans.
It's just easy to get to and a nice slick draw. Not noticeable with long shirt or sweat shirt.

It'll get the job done if required. I tend to switch my EDCG. I carry Sig's mostly. Today I'm holstering my Sig P220 (.45 ACP). I usually rotate between P229 9 mm and .357 Sig, P224 in .40 and my P220. Every once in a while I carry my GP100 in .357 or my Ruger LCR in .327.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Where do you put it when doing normal real world things like sitting down or driving a vehicle? Are you worried about wear marks on your jeans (printing) ?

I am almost finished with binge watching Justified (FREE to HULU subscribers), I get a big kick out of all the bad guys carrying large guns with no holsters in small of back or appendix positions, and also sitting down with no sign of discomfort. Of course their guns are mostly rubber props. LOL.

If I'm going to be walking around or doing chores I carry in back pocket. Now if sitting is required I'll switch same rig in ISWB on side. In my truck I have a mount on side of console which is handy.
For me I have a smoother and quicker draw out the back pocket.

I prefer standard OSWB on my hip. No tuck shirts = no printing. My Springfield single stack 9 sits very close in it's Kydex sleeve.
