I agree, it's likely you just had a bad round. It happens, even with factory ammo.
Good shooting. The course, as you said, is basically a straight up test of marksmanship. No moves to cover, movement left or right, shooting from cover, of alternative positions.

Ark is solid accuracy testing at appropriate distances. I don't know if 80% standard is demanding enough for getting on target. Always prefer a higher percentage, maybe for this course at least 90% . That standard also might lend itself to a shorter real-life confrontation. Good LEO training course.

Thanks Howard nice shooting in that one I must have missed it. Had a 38 super once upon a time and sold it. I think mine was a Colt 1911. But I do like the caliber. When you first pulled yours out I thought it was a Kimber. It looked similar to there Raptor model of which I have a 9mm in

That ACII 1911 in .38 Super is a nice shooting pistol. It was fun to shoot on that course.
