Bought mine in the 97 because I liked the one you got so much. Just didnt need another 9mm. But it did not disappoint for sure

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

My hands are just so bad it aint funny at this point 9mm and 38 is about as far as I dare go in a handgun. I can't even rack a 45 1911 on most days. So I might as well get a few 9mms to have fun with. Besides I had actually been looking at and thinking about getting a TSO for a couple of years. Kind of glad I waited as they replaced a few parts which made it slightly better. Most had been paying more to switch them out previously.

2019 was the year I also decided to purchase a few lever guns I had been researching for over a year. This whole episode was actually the result of seeing the New Original Henry on the Henry Repeating Arms website. Anyway lets just say once I started taking a look not only did I really want a New Original Henry but I also really got into the whole line of Winchester lever guns for the pistol caliber of ammunition. Anyway I first had to decide which gun (which ended up easily being the entire line) to determining which manufacture to go with. As someone pointed out replicas which are not 100% authentic are more about finding the one or ones which appeal to you most. In the long run between Uberti and Henry Repeating Arms and Winchester I went with the last two as I determined they would be a better fit for me.

In the case there really isn't just one favorite but all four instead. By the way it was almost as fun doing the research as it has been getting them.

This is but one example of how bad an influence Hickock45 has been. Not unlike others I have where the first I saw it was when I saw one of Hickock45s videos. Luved it the minute I saw it blue bits and all. Standard MFG SA in 45.

I purchased this Colt 1911 in March 2019. I know some folks are turned off by the black & blue grips, but that is what caught my eye and I love them! I have about 350 rounds through her so far.

2019 was the year I kind of got stuck on 1911s. I found this about the same time as my first Wilson Combat and could never get it out of my head so I decided to get this one as well.

You folks and your single action revolvers and now these 1911s. You're driving me nuts with these gorgeous pics!

I do understand about racking the slide on 1911s as a reason for going with a 9mm. That's one reason I keep a 1911 in 9mm in the collection, though there are other reasons to go with a 9mm, as well.

I did buy my DW PM-9 this year, so it makes it into runner up status. I know I could spend more on a 1911 (not that a DW is cheap), but I doubt I would get a 1911 with better fit or that would shoot any better.

Here's to keeping that 1911 vibe going, that is for at least one more anyway. By the way, I didn't buy this thinking I would be anymore accurate. But I did think it kind of cool. Besides the checkering pattern on this does work rather well.

Does appear that the DA Revolver is somewhat underrepresented here so I thought I would add another. Some people for whatever reason do not believe a their 22s should require as much consideration as their centerfire guns. Personally I disagree. Found this Korth1969b earlier this year.
