Wilson Combat XTAC

Post by dddrees » Tue Nov 19, 2019 1:01 pm

I had been looking around and chewing on various different 1911s and kept coming back to the X-TAC. I even looked at various manufactures with different aesthetics but Wilson Combat works best for me for a number of diffrent reasons. The problem was I already had a EDC X9L which is a whole lot like the XTAC especially when the X-TAC is in Black. Anyhow then I came across this one. Something a little different but I like it. Pictures from the sellers website and I hope to have it by the end of this week.

I've been looking at 1911s as well. That looks like a very nice one!

Thank you sir.

Have you checked out any of the various forums to kind of familiarize yourself with your various options?

A few others to include a Wilson Combat EDC X9L which is technically not a 1911.

.
I'm familiar. I used to have a Sig Sauer, but parted with it and wish I hadn't.
As a replacement I'm considering a very basic no frills Rock Island GI Full Size.

There isnt anything not to like about Wilson 1911's. But they are WAY out of my price range for sure. Beautiful guns.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I will never shoot competition, so, for a point and shoot SD weapon, I will keep it affordable yet reliable. I have that covered.
Beautiful pistols though. Wish I could afford to own a few beauties, just because....
