CZ Tactical Sport Orange

I've been looking at this one for awhile now. The problem was there were others that kept getting in the way. However this one sounds like it should be a perfect fit for me. Heavy, less recoil, sweet trigger, and supposedly very accurate. I've often read some very good things about CZ guns but this is the one that always appealed to me most.

So although I probably waited longer than I should the wait may have paid off because CZ updated a few of the things with the 2019 model that some of the users have been complaining about and switching out on their own for awhile now. If I had purchased it when I initially wanted to I wouldn't have received these updates.

Good - Metal trigger
Good - S2 safety
Good - S2 mag release
Bad - The standard 75 squared trigger guard (I think I could live with this if I received all the other good features)

I wasn't even aware of this until after I purchased the gun. But then again CZ doesn't even display the latest model on their website. So although the stock photo on GunBroker shows the 2018 model a quick call and I was told I would in fact be getting the 2019 model. The easy way to identify the 2019 model is by the orange magazine release and slightly different grips.

Unfortunately I"ll have to wait another 4 to 6 days before it's shipped but I saved $200 to $300 by purchasing from this particular seller. Hate waiting, but I'm willing to do so given the amount I was able to save.

Sounds like a very good pistol. Are you getting the 9 or the 40 cal?

The 9mm. The least the amount of recoil the better. Old arthritic hands.

I think so, generally everything I’ve seen with regards to this gun is pretty positive.

I have a CZ 75B and the CZ P09 They are both first class in my book and the only double action autos that I can shoot worth a darn.

Nice, and that’s what I’ve always heard.

I briefly considered getting other CZs because generally speaking everything I’ve read about them are extremely positive. I just had other things on my list I wanted first and besides if I were going to get any I really wanted the CZ TSO.

I also have a CZ 75B Nickel finish in a 40 in like new condition. For got to mention that one but they didnt make very many and I found it on GB just by luck. The 75b just fits in your hand so nice and it reminds me of a 1911. Great guns. I will be surprised if you dont like yours.

Nice

There really was a time I considered getting more and probably would have but 22s are mostly what I actually fire and I have a great infatuation with 1911s and revolvers. The fact that a good part of them are made from steel and they appear to be very well made and have a great reputation is especially appealing to me.

Id buy a CZ Shadow 2 in Urban Gray tomorrow if I could get one. But the magazine cap in Colorado makes it tough.

I’m with you on the Shadow 2 as that would make a great candidate for my second CZ. Good chance it won’t happen however as I already have more 9mms than I can get around too. But somehow I can see it being on the list if I consider getting another at some point.

I briefly considered a CZechmate but there was a Wilson Combat I wanted more. For that kind of money it would have to probably compete with another 1911 or 2011.

But more than likely my 22 list would once again take center stage. I still have a few 22s I wouldn’t mind getting.

Just picked it up.

It is the 2019 version, which I'm glad to see.

This one is hefty, but not bad. I'm used to and like heaveir guns.

The trigger is pretty light.

Not sure about the orange bits but it's not offensive enough that I feel the need to rush out and change it. Wasn't sure how the aluminum grips would feel but those too will work for now.

Hope to get the chance to fire it in the next few days.
