Heck, start making it yourself - I still have my 'possibles bag' and powder horn I made while going through the 'Jeremiah Johnson' phase of my life (like a lot of young guys did at the time) My CVA kit rifle has long since gone away and been replaced by 'better' guns but the interest lives on! I'll post pics of the bag & powder horn tomorrow.just looking for mountain man stuff. I have an interest in all that stuff.
My Assistant at work LOVES to call my possibles bag a 'Man Purse' and thinks it's 'cute' and I tell her I don't think Rebecca Boone ever called Daniel's possibles bag a purse!

Re: Pistol covers
I ordered a small belt pouch as well which will fit a cartridge belt. Can pack a bran muffin for Badger....

Hey All,
You know RR you could wear a nonrestricted mare's leg in a holster horseback.
Nothing wrong with it that I see but I could be corrected. You just need to change your personna from cow puncher to bounty hunter. Pay might be better too. In addition a mare's leg is a perfect accessory to working on your fancy jaguar xkss sports car while wearing spurs.
Or you could take up zombie killin like Woody in Zombieland...
Instead a hassle you probably get an award from the mounties.

All in jest as I'm sure you know.
Restricted laws are a hassle but Canada's allowance of SBRs and the ability to mail firearms and the general lack of hassle traveling from one province to another are the good things about nonrestricted weapons in Canada.

True enough, that's the plus side. That's a mighty big hogleg to pack around.....I have looked at the Henry Mare's Leg in Cabela's in 45 Colt.

Hey All,
My wife's Yaris had the exhaust pipe rust break at the muffler last nite so I'm gonna run by Midas an see when they can fix it. Be a loud trip when I take the car there for sure but meanwhile I'll go up to Cabela's and check out the Henry mare's leg in 45 colt which they have. Not likely gonna buy it as I saw it on sale two weekends ago for almost 200 Less than the price now. I don't like paying full retail plus I'm really considering a chiappa (1inch shorter (whole gun not barrel) than a Henry though) as the price is 900 versus 1150 unless I want a takedown which I suspect is back up in the 1200 range and I'd have to wait for one. I see em as interesting and a freedom preferred option to a restricted handgun in Canada. That pouch might work well for a takedown holder.
An I wonder just how different a mare's leg might be to wear compared to what I understand is the holiest grail of all colt SA revolvers - the 16 inch barrel buntline special.
