Kahr cm45

Post by Swigs » Sat Apr 07, 2018 10:03 am

I just bought a Kahr cm45. Was wondering if anybody else owns one here. The problem I'm having is every once an a while I get hit in the forehead with spent brass. Now if that don't make you flinch nothing will. This is a compact semi auto

I had one and sold it. I hated the trigger pull and never really liked it after I bought it. Lots of them out there but none at my house anymore. Al

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Yup and right down your shirt also those kinda burn a little. I also had issues with that little spring when breaking the gun down to clean it. I think the PM Series for pocket carry has some better reviews than the CM series does. For me the only Polymer pistol that has worked is the new S&W M&P 45 acp. Its the only one I have been able to shoot worth a darn and I havent had any jams or function problems. My Kahr now that I think about it would also drop the magazine by itself before the last round was fired. Other than the Smith the only double action pistols that work for me is a CZ 75B. They are great feeling in the hands and are real close to 1911. I have one in 40 and 9mm. There both very accurate and great to shoot. Cant say enough good about them.

nice looking rig .... with its size, being chambered for 45 it has to be a handful when you pull the trigger

It's not as bad as you think. I reload for it 6.8 gr of WSF 200 gr rainer . I like the gun just don't like the direction it throws the brass.
