But, I already have one!

Clovispup and I were at the range/LGS today. On the way out I noticed they have Springfield Range Officers on sale for $650. I picked one up earlier this year for the same price at the same store. If I didn't already have one, I would be on this like a duck on a junebug.

The SA Range Officer is one of the best values going in a target grade 1911. We have one in 9mm. It's really hubby's 9mm. My 9mm is the STI.

You should see Clovispup shooting that full sized .45 one handed!

We used it today to play battleship. We have to choose the smaller ring to qualify as a hit. Fun.

The only issue with it is dropping the mag requires a shift in hand position. That and loading enough ammo to keep us both happy at the range.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

ATP Gun Shop, Summerville SC. Don't know if the sale is still on. That was a couple weeks ago. I'm sure they will ship, but shipping and FFL fees might eat up any savings over a local price.
