On the list for one of these

I've been feeling a little nostalgic lately. Then the wife and I started watching the West World series. Started looking at Uberti's, Cimmarron's. Ruger Vaqueros and then a buddy told me about this. Well crap this is the guy that does the case color hardening for Henry. A Vaquero color case hardened with an extra 9mm cylinder allowing a single action that shoots 38 special, .357 mag and 9mm just pushed me over the edge. So now I'm on the list. :D

That's a beautiful gun, Bugs. Congratulations, and thanks for the link. Let us know as soon as you get it to the range...please.

Will do. Can't wait to go play with this one. More and more I'm leaning towards revolver shooting over semi-autos. Probably just tired of picking my brass up off of the ground.

I went to levers and revolvers a few years ago and seldom shoot a semi anymore.

I'm moving in the same direction. After years of building and shooting AR's they just don't do anything for me anymore. I find them boring. The lever gun I could shoot all day and it still puts a smile on my face.
I can shoot revolvers faster and more accurately than my semi's including the 1911's. They just fit my hand better and everything falls into place. I can shoot ambidextrously well with revos where I struggle to do the same with any semi-auto. i guess I've either come to a crossroads or an epiphany and now need to restructure my gun collection.

Bobby Tyler does beautiful work .... I'm considering sending him our BBS 357 & 44 mag to have them undergo his color case hardening process .... hopefully one day Henry will offer them

I've hoped Henry would offer the .357 color case hardened too. Maybe your idea is a more realistic approach.

Another SA Revolver fan here.

Have two. One is a Vaquero in 38/357.
