Trigger Pull: King Cobra vs Model 65

Post by GFK » Tue Sep 05, 2023 10:09 pm

I bought a King Cobra, because I liked the trigger pull. It seemed very light in double action mode. In compassion to my S&W 65, it seemed noticeably lighter. So, I used a gauge, just to check my suspicion. The was a about 2 lbs. of difference. The King Cobra tripped at about 10 lbs., and the 65 tripped at about 12 lbs. But, the trigger pull seems longer on the King Cobra. I guess that is the trade off for a lighter trigger pull? Hopefully, the 65 will wear in more, and the trigger pull will get much lighter. Until then, I will just keep pulling the trigger.
