That is a very nice molded holster. It sure is good to see a real set of grips on a Ruger single action . What grips are they or did you custom make them? Those of us with big mitts need to know. Did you ever think of putting on a Super Blackhawk hammer that has a lower and wider spur but not as curved as a Bisely. I have one on my Blackhawk .45 and it is easier to hook my thumb over.
Grips are Hogue I bought when I got the gun back in '99. I think they still make them in a variety of woods. Probably a lot more $$ these days. I did tweak them a little to fit my hand better in a couple spots. No other mods have been made to the gun, and don't plan on any. :)

I like real grips on Ruger Single actions. These fit my big mitts pretty darn good.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Looks like it will do the job Gunny. You might want a matching belt... with lots of loops for ammo, if you are going to shoot it, instead of tote it. :P
Use to shoot it fairly often, but haven't pulled the trigger on it for the last 3 years. Mostly because of the price of ammo and I don't reload. I've only got about 200rnds left and I'm trying to avoid using that up in the BH or the Henry. None of the local shops carry .41 mag, so on-line is the only option and I really would rather not have to go that route.

I get that my friend. I have a few calibers these days that I don't load for, and I will likely shoot those sparingly as the ammo is hard to come by.

Last time I found any .41 locally was in 2018. Hornady 190gr FTX. $20.99/20rnds not counting sales tax.

I'm trying to find .357 MAXimum and 30 Carbine... I have two Blackhawks that eat it. :D It's NOT on the shelves around here, but I did get a link to someone who loads it, or used to.

Got lucky (sort of) yesterday. Stopped by one of my LGS's and was surprised that they had .41mag on the shelf. Hornady 210grn XTP. Not cheap ($1.54rnd) but I took a deep breath & bought 2 boxes ( 40rnds ) anyway.

Well, I broke down and used the link from NCG and ordered both 100 rounds of 30 Carbine and 60 rounds of 357 Maximum. Not Cheap either, Just over $185 with shipping, but you can't FIND 357 maximum these days. In a couple months I'll order a couple more boxes of 357 maximum just to have it on hand. :D It's not something you'll go out and shoot a LOT of. 8-)
