Marine do you own any 357 mag single stage dies?
I only have the dillon 550 press and the dies for the 38s.
cheaper to buy the ammo once in a while than to set up a tool head to load for 357 max. Yup, I thought about it.

Understand as Dillon dies have sky rocketed to the point of outrageous. I figured you knew you could load the max with 357 dies so wasnt trying to offend in anyway.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Looks like it will do the job Gunny. You might want a matching belt... with lots of loops for ammo, if you are going to shoot it, instead of tote it. :P
Use to shoot it fairly often, but haven't pulled the trigger on it for the last 3 years. Mostly because of the price of ammo and I don't reload. I've only got about 200rnds left and I'm trying to avoid using that up in the BH or the Henry. None of the local shops carry .41 mag, so on-line is the only option and I really would rather not have to go that route.

I get that my friend. I have a few calibers these days that I don't load for, and I will likely shoot those sparingly as the ammo is hard to come by.

I know you mentioned you didnt care to buy 41 online but if its any help at all Freedom Munitions offers 41 mag and I and several others on here have used them and they are good.

Nope, how could you offend when trying to offer a helpful suggestion. I don't think my dillon .38 dies will extend far enough to accomodate the MAX cases. I have set them up now and then to load 357 magnum though. I think I looked at it and the sizing die was the problem. Can't remember. I looked for dies a couple times and couldn't find any.

I have an extra 357 size die RCBS and the bullet seater die for 357. I would think you could use your expander die for the case mouth. The size die is not carbide so you would need to lube cases. Id give them to you if you can use them just let me know.
