a great gift from a friend

Post by BruniX » Thu Nov 04, 2021 2:04 pm

My best friend recently lost his father.

when he emptied his house, he found a 1920 Luger P08 !

As he is not a shooter and wanted to give me a souvenir of his father, he gave it to me!, wouaaaah !
I had it officially regularized, at the gunsmith, and will be testing it this weekend.
He hasn't fired for 30 years, at least.
although it seems in fair condition to shoot, grooves are however very worn ...
probably not very precise, but who cares!
I reloaded some 9mm by, very soft, to respect this venerable ancestor of the last century!

i will report to forum next week result of this resurrection !

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

very nice indeed .... we have a 30 cal ... don't know if you are aware but the two screws holding on the grips are the only screws .... the parts are precision made .... assembling and disassembling is simple .... they don't like dirt in their actions .... keep it clean and it should be a pleasure to fire

Congrats!! Can't wait to hear how it shoots.
A friend of mine's dad used to collect them, had several at one time.
