Well too cold to do much outside today so figured this problem out!
If you have some .22 revolvers in your mix of .45 and .44 SA revolvers and don't want to get another holster belt with small loops here is a quick and cheap solution. I cut off small sections of rubber hose and slit the side to slip snug into the .45 Colt sized ammo loops on my holster rig.
Getting the trim right also gives a nice fit to hold a .22 rimfire round in place but slips right out when needed to reload. The rubber bushing stays in place.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Yeah...it's the winter boredom for sure with it too cold and wet down at my range to shoot and to chilly in my shop to do much.
But needed to do something better than carrying my 22 ammo in a pocket when wearing the rig with a 22 shooter.
Something is coming in another week too!

I think this would qualify as a "Mainer" solution. Making do with what's on hand to get the job done. It ain't the prettiest setup, but it sure is practical.
