A little diggin' in the gun cabinet today.........
Dug out my trusty ol' Glock 23 Gen4 and the Wolf 357 Sig swap barrel. Also found a practically new box of Underwood 125 gr. GD 357 Sig ammo...really hot stuff! Need to shoot my Glock a bit more IF I can find more .40 cal ammo.

Well only have a half box of .40 target ammo and 20 rounds of good self defense .40 ammo. 1 1/2 box of the hot Sig 357 stuff.
Right now I'll have to let it sit a while as with most ammo you can't find it right now. Well maybe fire a few off to see if the Glock functions OK.
This Glock23 was the first pistol I had bought in a long time and I traded my S&W 38 Special Chiefs Special snub nose in on the deal.
I wanted a pistol with more round capacity for CCW use.

Re: A little diggin' in the gun cabinet today.........
I have 2 Glock 23's and have put many rounds thru both. I bought my first G23 from a friend in 2004. It's a Gen2. Once my wife tried it is became her's and I had to have ask her to use it. About 4 years ago a friend of my wife's at church wanted to sell an Gen 4 G23. We picked it up for a very good price. I like the Gen4 Glocks because of the interchangeable backstraps with the beavertail. They keep me from get the dreaded slide bite on the top of the hand.

I love the G23. We also have two. I carried one on duty, and the wife liked the G19 so much, when the chance came, I bought a friend's G23c so he could buy the next bigger better thing. (Turns out it was neither.) She likes that compensated 40.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
