My SW 25-7 has landed !

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:57 pm

Picked up ol' Stormy this morning and looks super clean for it's 31 years! Gave it my Ballistol clean and prep and took a few indoor pics as the weather very windy outside today.
Action on it is very smooth and crisp and the DA pull doesn't feel as heavy as my 629-2E. Cylinder lock up and timing perfect. Grip feels good in hand!

Need to get a good holster for it. Hope to get out for first shots within next couple days!

If it shoots good as it looks, you have a real winner with that one. Looking forward to your first range report.

Mighty good looking rig there forty! Maybe you mentioned before, I forget, but, are those the factory grips? They accent that gun very well.
Heck, I don't think I looked that good at 31! Get to shootin'!

They came with a rubber Hogue grip but a lot of owners swap on other grips. The person I bought it from did not have the original grips or box it came with. First time I have bought a gun on Guns International but it worked out really nice this time. For the price I think I made a good investment as they can be hard to find and very glad to have it. They were made with the 5 inch barrel which is unique.

Will see how it shots very soon!
