That’s a beauty! I’m finally going to get my Ruger American .22 LR out on Saturday. I hope it’s as good as yours! What scope is that? Looks to be a Loopy? I’ve got a Nikon Rimfire 4-12x40 on mine.

Thanks. It is a Leupold...the 3-9X33 EFR. I tried to fit one of my Nikons, but it wouldn't clear the bolt with medium rings...this one fits with lows. I think the Americans have a 60 or 70 degree bolt swing...much more forgiving of large eyepieces. That's one downside to the 77 series.
Those shots were standing, with the fore-end on a sandbag, and only at 25yds, so not a real good indication of capability, but it is encouraging.
