Yeah, I sold my 2014 3500 and bought this 2005. I had an ‘05 new as well way back then, and sold it to finance a house flip. It was a short box though, which I have no use for these days. This one has been well broken in though, with 325,000 miles on it. I looked from Vancouver BC to San Bernardino CA, and east to Montana and trucks like this one were running $12-14,000 with similar miles. I found this one 10 miles from home and scored it for $4,100 !!! I’ve rebuilt the entire suspension and steering in it, and today was it’s inaugural drive beyond going to the parts store. I did 140 miles round trip to the range, and it got 17.6 mpg with 35” mud tires on it, a 3” lift and a 60 hp tune. I’m pretty impressed! You got to love a Cummins diesel!
