Remington 541-S

Post by bandit1250 » Sun Oct 06, 2019 12:05 pm

I have a 541-S here that is owned by my brother and will stay for a short period while he is taking care of things at home. It was bought new by me in 1980 and sold to him that same year. I had two at the time and he wanted one real bad so I left him buy one of mine. He has kept his all these years and mine has been gone for a long time. Over the time span he got this one from me until recent I have had 6 of the 541's. I am not married to none of my guns so I can leave them go when I see something else I want. My CZ Grand Finale may be the one I couldn't make myself part with. So here is the 541-S as it is now with a Leupold 3-9X40 AO scope and a sun shade from a Leupold 12X Varmint/Target scope. This is a very mint condition rifle that has taken a lot of squirrels by him using mini-mag hpt. ammo.

Thats a nice 541 Bandit. I had one at one time and sold it. It was a good shooter but I dont think it would out shoot your CZ's. That Remington and the 700BDL in 243 I have was built when Remington still did quality work. I question anything they make these days.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
