beautiful indeed ... in spite of concerns about exposing my left forearm to bullet shavings caused by the jump from the cylinder to the barrel, if I happened on one chambered in 44Mag, I doubt I could resist the temptation to bring it home

Thanks guys. I don't know about beautiful, but it's interesting...kind of an odd mish-mash of colors. Brass, light wood, chrome, CCH, and blued.
Even with the .22 Magnum cyl installed, shooting a revolver that close to your face is an interesting (and ear-ringing) experience. I'm going to have to get a proper set of ear muffs before I sight it in. A .44 might not be a lot of fun...
