No, the tag is not still on it. And, I may get to the range this weekend. I hoping to sight-in my scope on the 336W tomorrow. I might get a chance to squeeze in my 1894CS with a few shots. But, I wanted to clean and check it over first (if I can wait).Mistered wrote:Very nice! Any range reports or is that hang tag still on it?
Well, when one door closes, another opens. Most times, it is a better door. So, keep looking!Mistered wrote:I think the JM Marlin .357 I was looking at might be a memory now considering my well issues!
I am no expert, but I understand it to have Ballard rifling. Yet, I probably will shoot whatever is cheap at Wal-Mart for starters. However, will post a range report of what I use.Flinch wrote:I would like to hear how that Marlin groups with lead bullets.
Nice looking rifle.
Heck run a patch down the barrel, hose it down with Rem-Oil, cycle a tube full of rounds for a function check and start shooting! But, I wanted to clean and check it over first (if I can wait).
